About TRT Optima
We started because too many men were handed a prescription and never handed a number.
A clinic in Scottsdale, a stubborn medical director, and one rule that has not moved in ten years: nothing gets prescribed until twelve markers have been read by a physician who will put their name on the plan.
That rule costs us patients. Roughly one in six men who finish an intake do not start a protocol here — and a good share of those leave with a referral for the thing that was actually wrong.

“Any clinic can raise a number. The work is knowing which number, and when to stop.”
Medical Director, TRT Optima

What we refuse to shortcut
Direct-to-consumer hormone care got fast by removing the two slowest things: the panel and the physician. We kept both, and made everything around them quicker instead — mobile phlebotomy, results annotated inside forty-eight hours, a clinician who answers in one business day.
The result is a clinic that is slower to start you and much faster to catch the thing that would have gone wrong at month four.

Ten years, one rule
- 2016
A men’s health clinic in Scottsdale starts sending every new patient for a twelve-marker panel before writing anything. Referrals double in a year.
- 2019
Telehealth licensure opens the model beyond Arizona. The panel stays exactly the same; only the draw moves closer to the patient.
- 2022
A 503B partnership replaces retail compounding. Lot testing, cold-chain shipping, and a price that stops moving month to month.
- 2026
Forty-two states, nine prescribers, and the same rule as day one: no dose before a panel, and no panel we would not run on ourselves.
Who signs your plan
Every protocol carries the name of the clinician who wrote it, and you can reach that person. Team photographs are withheld while several of our prescribers hold hospital appointments elsewhere.
